Omada Property Group identified and acquired a raw, off market site to develop student accommodation in a prime Surry Hills location. A unique design was developed which maximised the building envelope on a constrained site, with heritage buildings on either side. 

Development Consent was achieved after a Land & Environment Court Appeal which was successfully managed by Omada. The approved design comprised 38 air conditioned rooms, each with kitchenette and ensuite over six levels with ground floor retail and no basement parking. The design also featured approximately 170 m2 of communal space on the ground floor with full kitchen, laundry, outdoor kitchen/BBQ and extensive lounge area's for the future residents.
  
Omada decided to sell the property with the Development Approval to take advantage of the surging inner city accommodation market, achieving a significant profit in just 18 months. The project highlighted Omada's ability to identify, create and execute opportunities in diverse markets using our property and development expertise.
