Leighton Properties – Project Director for the joint venture (Aris Dimos)
Joint venture (Leighton Properties & Mirvac) for the acquisition and redevelopment of Bankstown Airport. The project formed part of the privatisation of general aviation airports across Australia. Bankstown Airport was sold in conjunction with Hoxton Park Airport to the Leighton's/Mirvac joint venture. Bankstown Airport comprised approximately 104 hectares of development land which was surplus to aviation requirements. Aris was Project Director for the joint venture with overall responsibility for strategy and delivery of the project, leading a team of development and project managers. Aris was also part of the acquisition team which successfully bid for the Airports from the Commonwealth Government.
